Set Up Google Workspace on Your Domain in One Click

Setting up professional email on your own domain has always meant one detour through territory most business owners never wanted to visit: DNS records.

To verify your domain with Google Workspace, Google gives you a TXT record and asks you to add it to your domain's DNS zone — through a registrar dashboard that usually wasn't built with non-technical users in mind. Get a character wrong, add it to the wrong host field, or forget it entirely, and verification just... doesn't happen. No error message pointing you to the fix. Just a support ticket waiting to happen.

That's the step we just removed.

What's New

If your domain is registered or hosted with Granite Cloud & Code, your dashboard now has a **Setup Google Email** helper. Click it, and we generate the DNS record Google requires to verify your domain — and inject it directly into your domain's zone for you. No copying values between browser tabs, no guessing which record type or host field it belongs in.

You still sign up for and pay for Google Workspace directly through Google — we're not reselling it or standing between you and your subscription. What we're handling is the technical handoff in the middle: turning "here's a TXT record you need to add" into a single click.

How It Works

1. **Sign up for Google Workspace** through Google, using the domain you've registered or hosted with us.

2. **Google gives you a verification record** to prove you own the domain.

3. **Click Connect Google Workspace in your Granite Cloud & Code dashboard.** We generate the matching record and add it to your domain's DNS zone automatically.

4. **Google verifies your domain**, usually within minutes once DNS propagates.

That's it. No DNS panel, no manual record entry, no wondering if you typed something wrong.

Why We Built This

Every business owner who's tried to set up `you@yourbusiness.com` for the first time has hit the same wall: DNS is unfamiliar territory, and one wrong character breaks the whole process silently. It's one of the most common support requests we get from domain customers — not because the task is conceptually hard, but because DNS dashboards are built for engineers, not business owners.

If you already trust us to manage your domain, there's no reason you should have to become a part-time DNS administrator just to get real email running on it. This button exists so you don't have to.

Log into your Granite Cloud & Code dashboard, open your domain's settings, and look for **Set Up Google Email**. If you haven't started your Google Workspace signup yet, do that first — the button appears once Google gives you a verification record to add.
