Every new website needs an address. WordPress just moved into the neighborhood.

You know the feeling. Someone new pops into the group chat, and suddenly the whole conversation gets more interesting.

That's WordPress at Granite Cloud & Code, as of today.

WordPress powers a huge share of the web, from neighborhood bakeries to national brands. It's flexible, it's familiar, and there's a plugin for just about anything you can dream up. Now you can launch your own WordPress site on our hosting and try it free for a full month. After that, it's $9.99 a month. That's less than a large pizza, for a website that works for you around the clock.

What's New

From your Granite Cloud & Code dashboard, you can now spin up a fresh WordPress site on the same cloud infrastructure we use for our custom client builds.

  • Free for your first month. Build it, break it, rebuild it, show it to your friends. No pressure.

  • $9.99/month after that. One flat, predictable price.

  • Your site, your way. Themes, plugins, blog posts, landing pages. It's real WordPress, not a watered-down imitation.

If you've been putting off getting your business online because it felt expensive, complicated, or both, this is your sign.

The One Thing You Need: A Domain Name

Every WordPress site needs a home address on the internet. That's your domain name: yourbusiness.com. Without one, there's nowhere for visitors to find you.

You've got two ways to get there. One is the express lane. The other is the scenic route.

The express lane: get your domain from us

Search for and register a domain right inside your dashboard. Because the domain and the hosting live under the same roof, we handle all the wiring behind the scenes:

  1. Search for your domain on the Domains page and register it.

  2. Launch your WordPress site and pick that domain.

  3. That's it. We point the domain at your site and set up the secure HTTPS connection for you.

No DNS records. No copying values between browser tabs. No wondering why your site isn't loading yet. It's the fastest path from "I have an idea" to "I have a website."

Bonus: a domain with us also unlocks dashboard perks like our one-click Google Workspace setup, so you can have you@yourbusiness.com running in minutes.

The scenic route: bring a domain you already own

Already have a domain at GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, or somewhere else? Good news: it works. It just takes a few extra steps.

  1. Connect your domain on the Domains page of your dashboard.

  2. Log into your current registrar and update your DNS records using the instructions we give you.

  3. Wait for DNS to propagate. This is usually quick, but it can take up to a day or two for the change to reach every corner of the internet.

  4. We take it from there and finish setting up your site and its secure connection once your domain is pointing to us.

Nothing about this is hard, but it does mean visiting another company's dashboard and editing a setting or two. If DNS isn't your idea of a good time, that's exactly why the express lane exists. And if you get stuck on the scenic route, reach out and we'll help you find your way.

Why We Built This

Not every business needs a fully custom website on day one. Sometimes you just need a solid, good-looking site you can update yourself, at a price that doesn't require a budget meeting.

WordPress is great at that. What it's not always great at is the hosting part: slow shared servers, surprise renewal prices, and support that disappears when something breaks. We wanted to offer WordPress on hosting we actually trust, at a price that makes sense for a small business, with real humans in New Hampshire behind it.

And if your business outgrows a DIY site someday, you're already in the right place. Our team builds custom websites too, and you won't have to move a thing to talk to us.

Your Move

The chat is open. WordPress is here. All that's missing is you.

  1. Log into your dashboard (or create a free account).

  2. Grab a domain, or connect the one you have.

  3. Launch your WordPress site and enjoy your first month on us.
